Homework For Monday, March 24th!

For Monday: If high school and college sports teams continue to get caught cheating and penalized, why, do you think, would it continue to happen? (Explain in 3-5 sentences).

I believe that if high school and college sports keep up with their scandals they should be stripped of every record achieved and given to the player in the #2 spot. This is because the cheaters do not deserve the record and the person who actually worked hard for the Goal.

College sports and high school sports are focused mainly on winning. Everytime one team is caught cheating, another learns from the other's mistakes and believe that they can cheat without getting caught. However, when the team is cheating, they are so focused on winning, they forget to cover their tracks. Depending on how a team cheats, then each punishment should be different. Nonetheless, cheating should not be that hard to see. When there is a drastic change in numbers or stats, then you will most likely know thatsomething is wrong... unless they have always been cheating...that's a different story.
