The Yankees GM, who is staking his job on his great young pitchers, has walked away from a 4-for-1 trade of players the Twins were agreeable to for Johan Santana at the winter meetings that included Hughes, but not Ian Kennedy, the twins origionally requested or any of the Bombers' other top prospects. By doing this, Cashman has apparently handed one of the best young pitchers in baseball to the Red Sox for a parcel of prospects that is also likely to be a far cry from the Twins' original asking price for their best lefthander. He might be the best pitcher in the MLB. He has three Cy Young awards.

The murderer of Sean Taylor, desceased Washington Redskins player, has been said to be found. Now the 17-year-old gunman is being put on trial. The gunman's attorney is now fighting for him pleading innocence. The case is now dealing with the facts and morals of the minor, who is pleading not guilty.

Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets lose to the Lakers wenesday. A.I. scored 51 while melo had 26. Kobe caught fire in the 4th quarter and help the Lakers stop their three game losing streak.
