If a Professional athlete used steriods i dont really know what i would do to him/her. I think I would check to see if they have medical problems and if not them maybe suspend him/her. I think will or would also make sure that that person is careful because of the conditions it may cause.

I probably would leave it to somebody else. Punishment is not my department. Besides, taking steroids is already gonna kill them sooner or later, so, that's punishment enough.
I believe that an professional athlete who uses steriods or any type of proformance enhancer should be stripped of their records. The person under them should gain the respect and honor of being the record holder more than the person who cheated.
If I found A player to be using steroids i would punish him. I would banned them from the game for a while to let them learn there lesson and they will soon die from the drug or be disabled so that would be there punishements.
