The Yankees whipped the O's last night by a 12-0 margin. Meanwhile, Eric Gagne and the Red Sox lost to the Blue Jays, 4-2, and now the Yanks sit 2.5 games behind the Sox in the AL East -- two back in the loss column.

Yankees are going to win it, especially with the way that Posada has been playing these past games. Its a wrap, Yankees are going all the way.
The Red Sox will win the division because of the yankees schedule. The yanks have a 4 game series at home against toronto.Toronto has been competition for the yanks with their spectacular players, Alex Rios and Vernon Wells. The yanks also have a series at Tampa. Tampa has been known for their late season wins against contenders and the yanks in general. Plus Manny will be back and Papi will be up to his clutch ways. So look for Boston in october winning the division.
Conner is wrong. Yankees WILL win the East because the 07 MVP A-Rod hot bat and glove. With the line-up behind him, Matsui, Posada, and Giambi. A-rod have been clutch this year.
