I would have said if Johan would actually want to come to the yankees. I would have also put what team Pettite might want to go to. I would of also got the teams feelings of accepting johan and letting go of andy.

I would have put more emphasis on the series.
I would have talked about the teams record.
I would have also included some of the highlights of the season.

I would have added who the other players donating were.I would also add which retired players are getting the money. If not all of them, at least give some examples. I would also emphsize how much of a good deed this is.

This could have been written differenly by telling the differences between the quaterbacks Brett Farve and Tony Romo. Also to compare the way their teams are being compared.
