The Best Poing Guard Is...

The point guard with the most potential is Raymond Felton. Felton has some of the best raw skills in the game. Felton loves to play afast paced game , this shows whe the 'Cats play the Suns. I feel that Felton is always overlooked because of the market he plays in. Kirk Hinrich should also get looked at as a potential guy. It also seems we forgot about Gilbert Arenas.
To answer the second question,I say that Parker will because of his success already and the skillhe has around him. Rajon Rondo might if the Celts' live up to their skill or Jameer Nelson if Dwight [Howard] does great.
The Mavericks are slowing down so it wont be [Devin] Harris.
Hey guys... I took a couple extra days before dropping a new thread 'cause there wasnt much going on in the sports world, news-wise. We've got news now though! Lol, I'll get to that in a second.
I made my pick for the best pg in the older thread, so you can go there to check it out. I chose cquinn's post to lead things off because I thought he did a decent job of defending his pick, as well as opening up the thread for new arguments by making a case for other point guards throughout the league. Good job C!
On to this week's question:
News has just leaked across the sports desk that the Mets have agreed in principal with the Minnesota Twins on a trade for Johan Santana for prospects Carlos Gomez, Phil Humber, Kevin Mulvey and Deolis Guerra. The Mets still have to sign Santana to a contract in order for the trade to go through, but if that were to happen, what kind of shape would the Mets be in for the upcoming season? Would they be the World Series favorite? Would they still have to prove last season's collapse was a fluke? Are the Red Sox (booooooo!) still the favorite?
You guys know the rules by now, so let's get it started!

Patriots... Undefeated?

I feel the Patriots can be beaten and i think the Chargers and Giants could. I think they could be beaten because if their 16-0 they arebound to lose anytime. If the Chargers dont take themout this round then the Giants will beat the Packers and the Giants will then defeat the Patriots.
Hey guys. Took an extra couple days for me to get back to you. Meetings, blahblahblah. Let's get into last week's post.
I picked Acevedo's question because he mentioned two of the teams remaining in the playoffs, hence they both still technically have a chance to knock the Pats off.
However, I dont think it's gonna happen. If you can't stand New England (and I can't; I went to high school up there and I get phone calls every time they win another game), prepare yourself. The Pats are going 19-0.
I think they'll roll over San Diego, for reasons I mentioned in my last blog. I think on paper the Giants represent the toughest matchup for them, but they've played each other this season, which means Belicheck can gameplan to the point that Eli Manning will be traumatized for the rest of his life (He and Peyton can both say they've been victimized by Belicheck...).
That leaves Green Bay. I give them the best chance not because of any specific part of their team, but because everyone would be so riled up with talk of "can Brett Farve win another Super Bowl?" that they might benefit from enough favorable calls to pull off the upset. Refs read newspapers too, and if you saw last week's Colts-Chargers game, you know they're susceptible to multiple bad calls in one team's favor. Unfortunately, I just don't see that happening. I may not like them, but the Pats are human wrecking balls this year, and I can respect it.
...of course, if this post jinxes them in any way, so be it...
